Early Life

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Kimberly Kane was no stranger to the adult industry in her youth. Her mother worked as both a porn producer as well as an exotic dancer. Kane got her first job hostessing at a Mexican restaurant, later working in used car sales, home care provider, and eventually as a dancer. A few weeks before turning 20, Kane accompanied a friend to the set of an adult film. While there, the director inquired if Kane was interested in being filmed, to which she said yes. Kane moved to Los Angeles and promptly began her career in the adult industry.

Career

When Kimberly Kane entered the industry in 2003, she found work in the alt-porn genre despite her lack of body modifications. The multiple-AVN award winner went on to appear in over 480 films with a majority of top studios in the industry. In 2006, Kane made her directorial debut with the film Naked And Famous for Pulse Pictures. In 2006, Kane achieved some mainstream attention for her involvement with Howard Stern Show media intern, JD Harmeyer. In 2010, Kane was named one of the "Top 12 Female Stars in Porn" for Maxim.
